Canadian Technology Accreditation Board

The Canadian Technology Accreditation Board (CTAB) is a standing committee of the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists that was established in 1982 to manage the accreditation of post-secondary applied science and engineering technology programs in Canada.

The CTAB develops, coordinates and manages the national accreditation program for applied science and engineering technology programs. CTAB is a member of the AAAC.

Once certified, technicians and technologists may use one of the following professional designations: CET; AScT; CTech; RET; P.Tech. and TP, depending on the regultions in the province of residence.
